USF Muma College of Business Digital Marketing Program Announces Evan Rubinson as New Advisory Board Member

TAMPA, Florida., October 26, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The University of South Florida (USF) Muma College of Business recently named Evan Rubinson to the USF Muma College of Business Digital Marketing Program Advisory Board for a renewable one-year term where he will mentor and provide real-world business case study opportunities for students in the program.

The USF Muma College of Business Digital Marketing Program is a four-day, hands-on immersion program where students learn to apply the principles and techniques that drive marketing success in the digital age. Solving real-world challenges, students use practices developed by top companies guided by digital marketing experts and professional instructors.

Throughout the program, students continuously build their own set of tools and develop a unique and personalized digital marketing portfolio. The program helps students develop strategies, break down roadblocks, and develop a customer-centric innovation mindset, break down silos to bring their organization together, gain customer insights, and transform ideas in action.

During his one-year tenure, Rubinson earn a digital marketing certificate and offer mentorship and potential internships for graduates. Rubinson has held several CEO and CIO positions, is a member of the College Admissions Advisory Board, and was a Division One varsity athlete.

Rubinson founded the hedge fund, Koroit Capital, which focuses on investing in highly profitable healthcare and biotechnology companies. Evan’s financial expertise, along with his knowledge of government policymaking and regulation, has been instrumental in Koroit’s overall investment approach. At the age of 25, Rubinson left the financial industry to become president and CEO of Armadillo Enterprises, which owns and operates the world-renowned guitar brand Dean Guitars, as well as the Luna Guitars and ddrum Percussion brands. . He then founded ERA Music, of which he is currently the CEO.

Rubinson supports several philanthropic initiatives, including K9-focused charities like the Tampa Bay Humane Society and Southeast Guide Dogs, as well as Wounded Warriors, SGT Shredder: Rocking to Heal Vets, The Mike Calta Family Foundation, and his former high school, Tampa Jesuit High School, and is a member of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).

When participating duke university as an athletic sprinter, his passion for Company rooted and earned a BA in Economics and Public Policy and secured finance and investment-related internships at Wall Street firms and private equity firms. He serves as an interviewer for potential candidates to duke university and is a proud former donor.
