When did Kenya Moore win Miss USA?
Kenya Moore, now 51, won Miss USA at age 22 in 1993. She won the Miss Michigan USA title that year, then became the second African-American woman to officially win Miss USA.
The pageant star went on to represent the United States in the 1993 Miss Universe pageant and placed fifth. She also became a model for the Ebony Fashion Fair cosmetics line.
She began modeling at the age of 14 and during her modeling career she appeared on the January 1992 cover of the Chicago-based Johnson Publishing Company’s Ebony Man’s (EM) magazine.
Kenya launched its own company, Moore Vision Media, in 2008. The company produced an erotic thriller The confidantwhile she is credited as producer and director of Trapped: Haitian Nightsafter the project lost its director.
She took over production and finished the film. His business is an independent film production and home video distribution company, which only adds to his long entrepreneurial track record.
